VANCOUVER

Name and/or Alias: Ur & Duir
Location: Vancouver, BC, Canada
Homepage url: The Sacred Grove (under construction)
Children: 5yr old Taliesin and 3yr old Nimue
Spiritual path: Ur has never had the opportunity to work with a coven but would like to, Duir is a die-hard solitary. Both Taliesin and Nimue have taken part in full-moon ritual with Ur, but have yet to attend anything public. Ur has worked with groups in Japan, Australia, UK, USA and Canada. Both Ur & Duir enjoy writing and have experience with handfastings, rituals, and Poetry. We have studied (some more than others) various aspects of Paganism but have become more focused on the Druidry, Eclectic-Wiccan & Celtic traditions. Both have experience (to a greater or lesser degree) with astral travel, dream interrpretation, ritual, African drumming, meditation, dance, painting, symbolism, colour-healing, energy healing, massage, death, birth, Divination, Numerology, Western/Eastern Astrology, Herbalism, Magik, healing, crystals, mythology, symbolism, world religions (Various forms of Xtianity, Buddhism, Shintoism, Islam, Eckancar, various guru lead Indian groups, Hinduism, Gnosticism, etc), and have prepared talismans & amulets, runes, jewelry, and other objects for assistance.
Duir is presently working on a ritual of gestures for the Deaf and Ur is working on something similar for children. We are dedicated to learning and forever expanding our horizons.
Other: Both Nimue and Taliesin like the bardic tradition of the Gaels and are eagerly attending special music classes. Ur & Duir are attempting to learn Gaelic, but are a bit slack. We are atri-lingual: English, French, and Japanese of varying degrees, tri-culture (Korean/Japanese, Celtic, Canadian) family. We all have martial-arts training, and hope to continue with classes in the new year. Taliesin & Nimue attend a bi-lingual (FR-ENG) Montessori Pre-school while Duir works temporary jobs in the hopes of finding stable and rewarding work in the field of computers and Ur occasionaly works with Japanese students, writes or does some DTP, but finds that being a full-time Mum is job enough! We all enjoy attending local celtic-style dance or music parties!
